The Fall of Eff Ste: The Information Broker
The next major event shook Erica’s political elite.
Eff Ste, a man deeply embedded with Ossa and the Ions, was quietly arrested. Years before, Sra had recruited and financed him, helping him purchase a private island and a sprawling mansion. Eff’s mission was simple but powerful: lure influential Erican leaders to his island, compromise them, and collect information that could be used for leverage.
For years, he served faithfully. But then he became arrogant, careless—and worse—unreliable. He began selectively withholding information from Sra and sharing certain details with trusted friends in private conversations.
This could not be tolerated.
Sra deployed a new Ossa agent to get close to him, test his loyalty, and monitor him up close: Isla Noel.
Beautiful, intelligent, and highly skilled, Isla became Eff’s confidant… then his girlfriend… then his wife. She reported every detail back to Sra. When she eventually confirmed that Eff was leaking sensitive Ion operations, the decision was made.
He had to vanish.
To take him down while protecting their other assets, Sra instructed Isla to gather incriminating—but limited—evidence against him. Enough to justify arrest, but not enough to expose the leaders he had compromised.
After Eff’s arrest, Isla was also detained, as part of the cover operation. She fully expected to be released once her role was complete. She did not know Sra was quietly debating whether she should be eliminated as well.
Meanwhile, Eff awaited trial in a high-security facility, and Sra knew he would talk. So they arranged a “suicide.”
A trained agent—disguised as an inmate—was transferred into the prison. At the designated hour, security cameras were remotely disabled by TRON for a brief 10-minute window. The planted inmate escaped his cell, entered Eff’s, strangled him, staged the scene to resemble hanging, and returned to his bunk.
Hours later, Eff was found dead.
Days later, the infiltrating inmate was “transferred” out of the facility, only to be eliminated en route.
Rumors spread that Eff’s death had been staged, but no proof existed.
As for Isla Noel, she was quietly moved to a more comfortable prison—part of the staged narrative—and kept isolated while Sra tested her loyalty. Eventually, she was released early under the guise of “good behavior.” She disappeared completely.
She now lives under a new identity in an undisclosed location, funded by Sra. Her father—a powerful Ion-aligned media magnate—had died mysteriously years earlier, found lifeless in the swimming pool of his home in the Royal Kingdom. His death was never investigated.
